C-Max Stairclimbing wheelchair

c-max stairclimbing wheelchairThe c-max stairclimber allows you to overcome virtually all obstacles at home and out and about, with minimal physical effort required.

With c-max, a passenger can be assisted up and down stairs, without requiring a third person's help. Removable arm rests make transfers from another chair easy to accomplish. Due to its compact dimensions and foldable footrest, the c-max is easy to manoeuvre even on very narrow or winding staircases. For homes or business premises, with narrow doorways, the c-max represents the ideal solution.

• Adaptable:

Individually adjustable hand grips and variable speed control provide the optimum control for the carer, enabling them to manage even narrow stairs with little physical effort.

• Versatile:

• Consistent and reliable:

Safety brakes stop automatically at the edge of each step. The c-max can be used on all types of stair or floor coverings, without causing any damage.

Maximum passenger weight is up to 160 kg (25 stone).

The c-max is available in two versions, with the U2 model folding down to less than 43 cm in depth. This version also features sideways adjustable arm rests. The U1 model dismantles into easy to handle pieces for transportation in almost any vehicle.

S-max stairclimbing system

s-max stairclimberThe s-max powered stairclimber is ideal for those who do not wish to transfer. Compatible with virtually all commercially available manual wheelchairs, the s-max has been designed to be attached quickly and easily to a wheelchair with the appropriate fixtures.

This may be essential in dealing with DDA issues.

It has a strong, individually adjustable handle, with a solid connection to the climbing unit. The electrical cables run inside the handle, to avoid potential damage. The hand grips are ergonomically designed and the control unit is comfortable to use.

The s-max is equipped with a single step mode that assures maximum comfort in moving the wheelchair and its occupant gently and safely up and down stairs.

You can select the climbing speed to suit the situation, while the safety brake stops the s-max automatically at the edge of every step, making it completely safe.

Its compact measurements and low weight make the s-max ideal for everyday use.

The s-max is also suited to use with children's wheelchairs. A high degree of mobility equals more quality of life, particularly for children.

That is why the s-max has been designed in such a way that it fits compact children's wheelchairs, as well as adult ones - a rare advantage compared to most other stair climbing aids.

The high capacity batteries will cover up to 300 steps, enabling you to plan for longer outings. As a further option you can also charge the batteries while you are away from home, via your car battery and the appropriate charging cable.
