Scorpio - for effortless wheelchair transfer
A fully rising bath which is both luxuriously comfortable and highly practical, the Scorpio includes a specially designed post-mounted seat which can be adjusted to the required height for bathers. The seat also moves from side to side, for maximum manoeuverability.
In this way, bathers can safely and easily be transferred from wheelchair to bath in total comfort. The seat can be lowered outside the bath to within 250mm of the floor, facilitating the easy transfer of the bather from wheelchair to seat. The seat is then raised to the rim height before lowering the bather into the bath, and/or for raising the bath to the optimum working height for the carer.
The seat may be part of a transport system, detached from the bath and attached to a chassis and wheeled to the bather's bedroom for direct transfer of the patient from bed to seat - then simply from seat to bath. This eliminates the need for a series of difficult transfers from bed-wheelchair-seat-bath and vice-versa.
Gemini - designed to exceed your needs
This bath is fully adjustable - at the bath's lowest level, the bather can access the platform with ease. Once on the platform, the bather simply presses a button - and the bath full of water rises round them to the required depth.
The entire bath and platform assembly can then be raised together to a height which suits the carer - up to a maximim height of 350mm above the floor level. After bathing - again, at the touch of a button - the bath full of water can be lowered to its lowest level, leaving the bather on the platform, ready to be dried. At this stage, the carer can raise or lower the entire bath and platform assembly to the most comfortable level for drying and changing the bather.
Freeway hoist
The design of the Gemini bath (above) allows for the inclusion of a hoist for sling-lifted patients if so required. The stylish Freeway hoist has been carefully and thoughtfully designed to produce ease of operation with the security and comfort of the user in mind. Employing sound engineering principles, it is robustly constructed, using only the highest quality components and materials, combined with the latest computer aided design technology, to produce a well-functioning, strong hoist. For the ultimate in convenience in hoisting a ceiling track provides exact positioning, ease of operation, better use of floor space and the most simple to operate means of hoisting available.
Pisces - a new level of ease and comfort
The Pisces bath provides a high level of adaptability and flexibility designed to make the bathing process pleasurable and effortless for bathers and carers. The Pisces' unique feature is that it allows the bather to enjoy completely independent bathing. When the bath has been filled with water the bather simply completes the transfer onto the platform (in the style of a bed transfer) then presses a button to raise the bath full of water around them to a comfortable depth and commences the bathing process.
Then, at the end of bathing - and at the touch of a button - the bath lowers to its original position. The bather can get dry before transferring off the platform. In intensive care situations where a sling hoist is required, the sling may be removed prior to bathing, and the fixed platform may be used as a changing table.
