The Aurum Riser/Recliner

Benmor have developed the Aurum Riser/Recliners which are specifically for hospital use and incorporate easy cleaning and hoist compatibility. The chairs have been upgraded with hard wearing beading and sturdy handles for easy transportation and an ability to cope with the stresses of daily use in a hospital environment.

The chair is mounted on four heavy duty castors with rear brakes for easy transportation and stability. Space around and underneath the chair and the lifting mechanism accommodates mobile hoists for easier patient transfers.

Bespoke seat width, depth and height means chairs can be tailored for individual patients needs or kept standard for general use while the dual motor means the functions of the chair can be operated individually to maximise patient comfort and support.

• Double support system on leg section - Gives the chair a very high weight limit on the leg section. Bariatric patients can often carry a large amount of weight on the legs and lower body.

• Waterproof and infection resistant vinyl coverings - Easy cleaning and maximises infection control.

• Mixture of hard wearing and pressure relieving vinyl - Hard wearing vinyl on the back and sides of the chair protects it from the bumps and knocks associated with hospital use. Pressure relieving vinyl on the seat and back cushion maximises pressure relief for the patient.

• Vita-Gel pressure relieving seat cushion (optional) - 4" gel cushion provides excellent pressure relief for high risk patients.

• Dual motor - Individual control of the footrest and backrest for greater comfort and functionality.

• High weight limits - Available with a 40st/255kg or 50st/320kg safe working load to cope with the heaviest patients.

• Transportation handles and beading on edges - Greater protection from contact with walls and doors and handles aid manoeuvrability.
