The RTU 100 Car Rooftop Wheelchair Carrier has been developed after years of research carried out in both the northern and southern hemispheres. It is an aerodynamically designed product, which sits on the roof of a car very much like a roof-mounted sports box and looks really good on modern vehicles. The RTU100 can also be used in either a carport or garage due to its unique design.

The RTU 100 is controlled using an ergonomically designed hand held two button control pendant. Very simply: one button for "Load Wheelchair" and the other button for "Unload Wheelchair". The wheelchair loading cycle time is 47 seconds It also incorporates a manual back-up system that enables the wheelchair to be loaded/unloaded manually in case of vehicle battery failure.

The RTU 100 is available in right hand and left hand options. It can also lift and load a wheelchair weighing up to 33kg complete with armrests and legrests.

The wheelchair carrier is constructed from the finest non-corrosive materials available, with aluminium alloy selected for the main structure and moving mechanisms. ABS moulded plastic, finished in metallic silver, has been selected for the wheelchair enclosure. This has resulted in an aesthetically pleasing, very easy to use product, which requires very little maintenance. It comes with a 36 month warranty, and comprehensive after-sales service.
