The Camelot range is comprehensive, offering reclining chairs in Standard,
Petite and Grande sizes (seat width up to 28", user weight up to 35
stone). We are also able to provide a bariatric chair, with a 34"
wide seat for users up to 50 stone.
Camelot also offers multi-positional manual recline chairs, the Excalibur
and the Galahad, which use a smooth mechanical action to glide the chair
effortlessly from a sitting position to a completely relaxed reclined position,
activated by pushing back gently on the arms and back of the chair when seated.
Single motor chairs follow a set sequence for the upwards movement of the
footrest and the recline of the chair back.
A new addition to the range is the "wall hugger" model, which can be placed
up to a wall, without impeding its rise and recline functions.
Ultraleather Brisa®, a registered trademark of Ultrafabrics LLC, is the latest addition to the
fabric range. A luxurious simulated leather, which is breathable, scratch resistant, waterproof
and very soft, featuring the first polyurethane surface with a unique ventilation system that
actually breathes. It is formulated to provide air flow and resist temperature fluctuations,
keeping you cool and comfortable no matter how long you use the chair.

While single motor chairs follow a set sequence for the upwards movement of
the footrest and the recline of the chair back, a "dual motor chair"
allows independent control of the footrest and the chair back, with a
separate button to control each one, thus allowing a greater diversity
of seating positions. It also features a completely horizontal recline
which can be used as a sleeping position if required.
Our dual motor chairs are available in seat widths from 18" to 24",
and as with all of our reclining chairs, we will tailor the chair to suit
your individual seating requirements. These chairs support weights of
up to 25 stone.
Triple motor chairs are available in seat widths from 24" to 28", with a 35 stone capacity.
Dual motor chairs are widely used by NHS Trusts nationally for Day Surgery
patients as a recovery chair bed.

Bariatric chairs are available as single motor, three-way chairs in seat widths from 18" to 28", for user weights up to 35 stone.
They have been specially enlarged and reinforced to accommodate people of a larger stature, and come with castors for ease of movement.
Bariatric chairs are also available in dual and triple motor versions, with the same range of seat widths and weight capacities.
For the heaviest users, the Pendragon chair can be supplied with a 34" wide seat and 50 stone capacity.
With either a waterfall or button back, it can have a removable arm to facilitate side transfers.

The Camelot range is made to measure, to meet individual customers' requirements, with lots of tailoring to suit particular circumstances.
For example, chairs can be provided with pressure relieving foam in the seat, arms and legrest, or with cut-outs to accommodate specialist aircell pressure relief cushions, if required.
All chairs can be supplied with anti-entrapment protection, if appropriate.
As well as the new wall-hugger style, there is a vertical lift action available, which suits taller people.
The new-style battery back-up can be incorporated in the chair, for discreet, cordless operation. The unit will give 100 full lifts and reclines per charge, and gives a warning beep when the power is getting low.
For safety, all Camelot's electrically operated chairs come with a removable
locking key hand control, which prevents the chair from being operated
when the key is absent.

Many
people find a traditional fireside chair easier to get up from than a
deep easychair: the seat level is higher, and this style of chair provides
firm, comfortable seating, with good lumbar support.
The comfortable armrests with wooden ends offer a good grip to assist
you in rising from the seat, while the high winged back is great for protecting
your neck and back from any draughts!
The style fits well with traditional decor.

A recent addition to the Camelot range, electrically adjustable beds.
This four section profiling divan-style bed with padded headboard has a convenient and easy-to-use hand control, enabling the user to adjust their position as they wish. Anyone who spends extended periods in bed will appreciate the opportunity to change between a more upright position for reading, eating or watching television, and something more horizontal, perhaps, for sleeping.
Among other benefits, choosing the right sleeping position can help with circulation problems, indigestion and pressure sensitivity.
