The New HydroForm Chair

Following its launch in 2005, the HydroForm chair has undergone many developments and changes. As the definitive nursing chair for the ambulant and semi-ambulant user, the HydroForm provides a unique level of adaptability that guarantees superior postural care and pressure management for both individual and multi-user applications.

The high levels of comfort offered by the HydroForm have been achieved through careful material selection. The seat cushion utilises CareFlex's patented WaterCell Technology® which, when combined with Reflexion® foam, provides the benchmark for continuous low pressure seating. What is more, the HydroForm is the first chair ever to incorporate Reflexion® foam in the lumbar and lower back area. The HydroForm also breaks new ground with its SuperSilk soft, deep and shallow headrests which combine the comfort of dacron with the durability of top quality foam.

The high comfort and pressure relieving qualities of the chair mean that the HydroForm can be used as an all day seating solution in nursing and domestic care environments. The back angle recline and leg-rest facility can be used to provide either an 'active' posture for eating, reading and hobby activities, or a resting posture for watching TV or sleeping.
