With its combination of features designed for the benefit of both the carer and occupant, the HydroTilt has set the standard for high dependency care chairs. By blending a host of posture and pressure care functionality with domestic styling, the HydroTilt is the perfect fusion of form and function.

Pressure management, provided via the patented WaterCell Technology®, has been enhanced with the addition of Reflexion® foam to the legrest and legrest extension.

Adaptability has also been improved with the introduction of a simple interchangeable arm system that allows the seat width of the chair to be adjusted quickly and easily. The HydroTilt can cater for single or multi-user environments as people of different shapes and sizes can all be accommodated within the HydroTilt's range of adjustment. The seat depth and width can be adjusted within seconds, and the Tilt-in-Space function and integral legrest can be adjusted either via a pneumatic system using conveniently located release levers, or via a dual motor actuator system that allows re-positioning at the touch of a button.

In addition to all the benefits for the occupant, the carer's needs have also been considered. Correct postural and pressure care combined with features such as removable side arms, hoist-friendly design and the ability to move the chair from room to room, mean manual handling has been reduced to a minimum.

The Small and Mini HydroTilt chairs have been designed to cater for children and adults of small stature. They can be adapted to meet changing needs with adjustable seat depth, width and height (the latter requires a trained technician). This means that not only can the chairs be reconfigured over time to reflect the growing needs of a child, but also that the chair can be tailored to meet the exact dimensions required to meet pressure management and postural needs.
