Carer support

If you click the links below, the organisation's website will open in a new browser window:

Carers UK a carer-led organisation which aims to raise awareness and achieve recognition and equality of opportunities for carers.

The Princess Royal Trust for Carers the largest provider of carer support services in the UK. With a network of 122 independently managed Carers' Centres and its websites, the Trust currently provides information, advice and support services to almost a quarter of a million carers, including 13,000 young carers.

The Relatives & Residents Association exists to support older people needing, or living in, residential care, as well as the families and friends left behind.

Marie Curie Cancer Care nurses provide palliative care at home, and in hospices, for cancer patients, primarily.

Hospice at Home aims to enable patients with cancer or other advanced illnesses to be cared for at home, and to die at home if that is their preference.

Sue Ryder Care is a charity specialising in palliative care, neurological care and homecare.

This is in no way a comprehensive list. If you know of a charity doing useful work in support of carers that you feel should be included here, please email us so that we can add them.
