Telecare and Telehealth Technology is there to support independence – lots of solutions to help with living at home with confidence, and managing health (self-care).

Steps and Stairs For people who struggle with stairs, there is an area dedicated to homelifts, stairlifts, as well as other solutions such as stairclimbers. Just a single step or change in level can be a barrier for a wheelchair user, so we also have a range of access ramps, providing both permanent and portable access solutions.

Home Security (Door Entry) This section looks at various ways of keeping your home secure, whilst still enabling you to let visitors in. Advances in technology have made it possible to clearly view callers with a video door entry system, let them in remotely with an intercom and “key fob” opener. You can even arrange for authorised people to open your door by text message.

Safety in the Home More people are killed at home than on the roads, so it makes sense to look at the safety of your kitchen, bathroom, stairs. We have a selection of safety products, and lots of commonsense home safety tips.

These are the products you can find on the household pages:

Homelifts, stairlifts and stairclimbers – solutions for indoors and out

Household security – door entry systems to help keep intruders at bay

Safety in the home – gadgets to help

Ramps – for improving access in a wheelchair or scooter
