Chunc's post operative Spica wheelchair has been designed primarily for children and young adults in hip spica casts; however it can be used for other requirements such as radial leg extension braces.

The wheelchair can be set up to accommodate the majority of fixed cast positions, including back recline, leg angle and knee bend. It can be fitted with angle adjustable foot rests aiding post cast physiotherapy. The Chunc Spica can be used both indoors and outdoors.

The Chunc Spica facilitates the early discharge of patients from hospital to the comfort of their own home, thereby improving bed space availability in hospitals.

For the convenience of storage and transportation the Chunc can be easily dismantled and will fit into the boot of an average sized family car.
