The Medpage MP5 incorporates a bed sensor for convulsive seizure detection and is equipped with a
microphone for the detection of aural sounds.
Three simple controls provide bed sensor and microphone
sensitivity and movement alarm delay.
The sensor is positioned under the patient's mattress. Should
seizure activity begin, the sensor detects the abnormal movement. When the movement has continued
beyond the delay setting, an alarm is generated. The built-in microphone detects sounds
such as choking, grunting or screams etc: detected sounds will cause an alarm.
The MP5 is equipped
with a transmitter that sends an alarm signal to a radio pager - it is supplied with two of these.
The MP5 provides reliable seizure detection at an affordable price and is suitable for
domestic and professional care use.

A single pager can be used with multiple transmitters, making the system suitable for multi-user
situations, such as warden assisted accommodation and residential care homes.

MemRabel helps people to remember events and tasks by playing back recorded voice messages
at programmed times. Up to four separate voice memos can be programmed for daily or once a week playback.
Most people occasionally forget to keep an appointment or complete a daily task. This is frustrating and annoying. For a
person with memory issues, the frustration generally escalates into a feeling of inadequacy, or even anger, causing stress
to themselves and family.
The MemRabel can help by playing recorded messages at selected alarm times to remind the person
of things to do. When a message is played in a familiar voice the person is more at ease.
Reminders for medication, appointments with Doctors or day centres and even reminders to eat, can easily
be set by a family member or care worker.

The EM503B is a practical, easy to use, no-fuss mobile telephone that can be used on any network.
The large keypad and large screen text make the phone ideal for elderly people, people with sight impairment,
and those of us who think we can manage without glasses!
The built-in tracker also provides some very useful additional functions. When GSM tracking is enabled,
you can request tracking/location details directly from the phone, by simply sending a text to the phone
requesting its location. The phone will send a text message containing mapping co-ordinates and a mapping
hyper-link. By using a smart phone or iPhone, you can view the location from a map on your own phone.
This makes the unit an ideal way of tracking someone with memory problems or cognitive impairment, to
preserve their independence while still supporting them.
Another excellent feature to this end is the bright red SOS button, which when pressed will dial a
designated number and open a two way channel for conversation between a person requiring help and their carer.

For people at risk from falls when rising from their bed or chair, our radio paging alarms provide a reliable,
economical solution. A pressure sensing mat is used to detect a person in their bed or chair. If they
rise, an alarm signal is transmitted to a radio pager or wall mounted alarm radio receiver to warn the care provider.
