Wireless
DDA Panic AlarmThis simple fit wireless toilet-washroom pull cord transmitter kit provides an inexpensive solution to DDA compliance issues concerning the provision of emergency contact alarms.
Shown here, the waterproof pull cord transmitter (which is also suitable for use in a shower or bathroom), alert beacon and wireless reset button. The transmitter is fitted next to the WC, or shower area. The alert beacon is fitted where staff would hear or see the beacon. The wireless reset button is fitted close to the pull cord transmitter so that the alarm is only cancelled when someone has attended the incident. The alert beacon is powered by a 12 Volt DC supply. Both the reset and pull cord transmitter are lithium battery operated. The pull cord transmitter has a reassurance LED that lights when the cord is pulled. The alert beacon will operate continuously until the reset button is pressed.
Where multiple pull cord transmitters are in use, a central monitor can be installed at reception or in a suitable manned area. When signaled, this monitor will display the identification of the transmitter, so that the alert can be quickly dealt with. The wireless reset also cancels the alarm from the central monitor.
The RON-WC1 kit, shown, can be installed and ready for use in under 10 minutes and is guaranteed to perform.
