New smoke
alarm for deaf peopleThe Easylink ST1-RX system has been developed after almost 20 years of manufacturing the ever popular Fire Centurion smoke alarm system for deaf people. The all new ST1-RX offers unrivalled quality and durability and offers six alarm device channels. As a basic smoke alarm system, up to four smoke detectors can be used with the ST1-RX, each having a specific alarm channel with LED indicators.
The ST1-RX is fitted with a powerful vibrating pad and high power xenon strobe light. The ST1-RX uses radio technology employed in the Medpage medical product range. Each smoke detector used with the ST1-RX is monitored for radio signal performance, potential radio interference, low battery or product failure, with clear alarm indication if something is wrong.
The ST1-RX offers flexibility and system expansion. Compatible products can be added to the system at any time. There is a very simple setup procedure for adding new products. The ST1-RX has information ports accessible to care professionals. The signal ports can be used to allow telephone auto diallers to be connected for off-site warnings of an active alarm condition, or to connect additional strobe beacons, and radio paging devices.
