Footwear
Many people who lose the dexterity to tie shoelaces would still like to wear a smart pair of lace up
shoes. One solution is elastic laces, which turn lace-ups into slip-on shoes. Another possibility is
spring clips, which hold the laces closed.
Pressure on the soles of your feet can make walking uncomfortable - as we get older, the pads of natural
cushioning get thinner and less effective at absorbing pressure. Gel insoles are a good way
to help absorb impact and so ease the pressure.
If you need extra room to accommodate bunions, swelling, problem toes, bandaging or very wide feet
Cosyfeet shoes and slippers are available in styles to suit range of conditions, including stroke,
arthritis, diabetes, or leg ulcer, being wider and deeper than usual footwear.
A long handled shoe horn saves stooping, makes it much easier to ease on fitted shoes.
Taking off shoes can be just as awkward as putting them on. This simple shoe remover allows you
to remove your shoes without bending or strain, as it holds the heel area firmly, enabling you
to lift your foot out easily. It is made of sturdy plastic.
