Assistive Hearing

The range of hearing products includes infrared and fm wireless listening systems, and a choice of induction loops for any situation, from portable counter / reception area loops, to fixed installations to meet the needs of users in environments as diverse as a TV lounge, sports centre, doctor's surgery or theatre.

The Soundshuttle portable induction loop which has a pick-up radius of around 1.5 metres and operates on rechargeable batteries is ideal for counter or desktop situations. Carry bags, scart extensions and external microphones are also available for the Soundshuttle.

Other assistive hearing products include the CM 1 (in the picture on the left), a small two piece system that consists of the neck loop receiver and a small microphone. You can choose whether to pick up sound from your surroundings by using the Omni-directional setting or home-in on a specific sound source using the Uni-directional front microphone. The CM 1 can be used in meetings, lectures, cars, restaurants, conferences, etc.
