Manual corner solution
For
many disabled people, corner units in the kitchen are normally redundant
spaces that they simply can't get to and therefore can't use.
Herbert's Corner Solution means that more of the space can be utilised and anything stored in it is totally accessible.
The system works by having four baskets inside the corner unit behind a normal door. It is designed in such a way that all four baskets can come entirely out of the cupboard. The first two are pulled out of the recess, and it is then possible to slide them to one side and pull out the other two, giving complete access to all four.
It is possible to fit the system into an existing corner unit which is 800-900mm wide, with a 450 or 500mm hinged door, right hand or left hand. The mechanism is 460mm deep.
Corner carousel
A
stylish solution to making best use of space in a 900mm by 900mm corner
cupboard.
For maximum ease, the door is attached to the mechanism, so just one movement is required to access those formerly hard-to-reach items!
This chrome carousel has two baskets and a sturdy central pole. The door rotates with the mechanism through 360°, allowing you to reach the products stored at the rear of the cupboard easily.

Quickbasket
A
simple way to make kitchen base units more accessible.
The Quickbasket is a high quality chrome fitment, consisting of two baskets on full extension runners, so that they can be pulled right out of the cupboard, allowing you to reach all the items stored there.
The Quickbasket is supplied on its own frame, for easy fixing.
It is available in all standard widths:- 300, 400, 450, 500 and 600mm.
Pulldown mechanism
Another
really clever idea, to make the contents of wall cupboards accessible
to wheelchair users.
The pulldown mechanism will fit a 600mm wide cabinet with a minimum depth of 285mm. It is available with a side spacer for hinged doors.
The load capacity for the mechanism is 7 - 12kg.
Direction of pull has been designed for wheelchair use, and as it is controlled by a gas piston, it has a very smooth action - will not bounce up or crash down!
