Contour Showers has applied its 50 years' experience to introduce new showering solutions that create an effective,
protected showering environment which gives the user as much independence and privacy as possible, be it in a bathroom
or wetroom. As a bonus, the products are 100% recyclable and manufactured in the UK.
The new Contour Eco-Dec® is an environmentally-friendly, pre-formed wetfloor former which enables quick and easy creation of a level access wetroom. Made from over 90% recycled plastic materials, Eco-Dec® is incredibly strong yet light in weight, making it quick and easy to install with minimal disruption.
The company's unique Primo XTRA shower waste pump utilises peristaltic technology - similar to the process used in dialysis and heart bypass equipment - creating an 'unblockable' solution to remove shower water, regardless of obstructions such as hair, soap, gel etc. The innovative design ensures that it operates quietly, with little motor noise, and reduces the gurgling noise associated with other waste pumps.
To enclose the shower area, Contour has the contemporary and stylish Luxe range. Luxe doors (shown above) will complement even the most aspirational bathroom yet provide optimum watertightness, safety and the protection needed for easy access. A polished aluminium finish is combined with glazing options of unbreakable textured, opaque PET or clear toughened glass. An innovative seal ensures that water does not leak out of the enclosure, protecting both carer and the floor covering!
