Logan Technologies is introducing the Logan ProxTalker, an exciting new communication aid, to the UK.

Glen Dobbs, whose 12 year old son has autism, developed the Logan ProxTalker to help him communicate beyond the boundaries of school and home: "Logan is a great user of PECS, the well known picture exchange communication system, however I wanted him to be able to order his own burger when we went out at the weekend, he has no verbal communication. There was nothing on the market that was easy enough for Logan to use and robust enough to withstand the rough handling I knew he would give it."

The Logan ProxTalker is a portable, truly robust and easy to use communication aid, which exchanges pictures for words and enables Logan and others like him to communicate verbally.

Unlike many AAC devices, the ProxTalker is both user- and therapist-friendly, simple in its set up and delivery. Speech and and Language Therapists are already seeing many applications for the device across both child and adult client lists, and report their delight at having something both new and so easy to use at their finger tips.
