Safespaces provide a range of safer rooms and sleepsystems, offering flexible, attractive and economical alternatives to room padding. They are showing the Safespace and their new product, the Cosyfit Hi-Lo.
The Safespace is an attractive 'room-within-a-room' environment, providing high levels of physical safety for people who cannot be left alone safely in an ordinary room. Its freestanding design solves the problem of intricate and expensive protection of radiators, sockets and windows. It is used in homes, schools and residential settings by people with autism, epilepsy, and a range of special needs.
A development of the Cosyfit, the Cosyfit Hi-lo provides a robust high-sided bed-system suitable for those with limited mobility but who thrash, roll, or may be unsafe in an ordinary bed, and need lifting and caring above floor level. It has a fully padded interior, high sides and a mattress base, with soft pvc opening sides on one or both sides. Compatible with ceiling and floor hoists, the Cosyfit Hi-lo has variable height, and options for Profiling and Trendelenburg functions.
