Special seating providers, Specialised Orthotic Services, are showing their new portfolio of community
care products, ranging from customised toilet/shower seats to homechairs and the innovative "P-Pod" (shown on the left here).
All are designed to continue posture managment within the home care environment.
SOS manufacture all the equipment from their UK base in Staffordshire, enabling them to maintain complete
control of the product cycle from design to finished product. All products are designed to the highest standards,
to offer adults and children comfort, support and confidence in their daily routines. Their 30 years' experience and
in-depth knowledge of the marketplace was recognised last year when Managing Director, Gordon 
McQuilton received
an MBE for "Services in special seating for disabled children and adults".
With an expert team of seating specialists, SOS currently provide a complete service for the assesment and provision of special seating equipment to over fifty Wheelchair Services throughout the UK. From custom moulded and modular seating systems to the Mojo wheelbase, they have a comprehensive range of mobility equipment aimed at solving problems related to postural management.
