Proximat®

The Proximat® is a simple, child-friendly method of measuring hip range movement in children.

Inspired by a patient assessment, the Proximat® has been developed and tested by experienced physiotherapists in association with Manchester PCT and The North West NHS Innovation Hub (TrusTECH®).

A reliability study for the Proximat® has been published in Physiotherapy Research International. This demonstrates the Proximat® to be reliable, responsive and easy to use.
