Oxford Mobile Hoists

The Oxford Midi has become the versatile industry standard in homecare, offering surprising performance for a hoist of its size. The Oxford Midi offers the perfect solution for the community / nursing environment, whilst being sympathetic to the space constraints it encounters.

The Oxford Major 190 (shown left) is the perfect crossover product for both nursing and institutional care. Its high lifting capacity and lightweight design allow the Major to work well in almost all settings. It is available in both electric and hydraulic versions.

Other hoists in the Oxford range include the Maxi 170, a heavyweight electric lift with a maximum lifting height of almost two metres from floor level. The Maxi can lift patients onto almost all institutional and nursing surfaces. At the same, the Maxi maintains a relatively compact frame (no larger than the Major in width and length), allowing the hoist to be manoeuvred and stored in a similar way to other Oxford products.

Where a compact hoist is required, the Oxford Mini provides an excellent lifting range with an ease of movement that makes it highly suitable for use in more restricted areas.

The Stowaway folding hoist has also been developed especially with the domestic care environment and patient in mind. This small but highly durable lifter offers superb manoeuvrability around the confines of domestic and nursing settings.
