Bearhugzzz Bed and New SpaceSaver Bearhugzzz

When we designed the original Bearhugzzz bed for one small boy who is prone to self injury, we had no idea of the demand there would be for this product.

We very quickly realised that we were not just providing a comfortable, safe and fun environment for the user but also giving peace of mind and the first decent night's sleep in years for the carer.

The unique-looking Bearhugzzz comprises four foam-filled triangular shaped walls, and the mattress consists of four 200mm depth foam sections. The walls are all connected with zips, thus giving a choice of four different access points and enabling the kindersafe bed to be easily disassembled for transportation.

We have now developed a new product for clients who require a Bearhugzzz bed, but have limited space. Instead of the distinctive triangular shaped walls, the SpaceSaver (shown left) has flat sides. One or two of the sides could be fixed to a wall, giving even more stability. There is an added advantage that you can choose sides for the bed as high as your room will accommodate. This is a truly bespoke product.

All Bearhugzzz beds are covered with a choice of patterned or plain anti-microbial, waterproof fabric or a combination of both.
