The all new Volkswagen Wheelchair Accessible Range
The
all new VW range from Lewis Reed is possibly the most comprehensive range
of single marque wheelchair accessible vehicles ever launched. Packed
full of choices for the wheelchair passenger including a fully safety
tested front passenger wheelchair position, there are over 20 different
seating layouts, 2 wheelbase lengths, 2 roof heights and a staggering
18 different models to choose from.
With dozens of factory fitted options, varying engine sizes including
the 2.5TDi automatic as well as a range of flat and metallic paints you
cannot fail to find your ideal vehicle.
Seating allows up to seven passengers plus the wheelchair user and further
combinations can allow up to 3 wheelchair users.
The economically priced T5 Cruiser MkII (pictured above) comes with a high level of comfort, and numerous seating and wheelchair options. Also in the line up is the luxurious but affordable Shuttle SE and the premium quality Caravelle SE and Executive MPV's.
All seating layouts have achieved Low Volume Type Approval at Manchester University, witnessed by the Vehicle Certification Agency. All models are supplied as standard with a safety tested lightweight rear access ramp. Rear and side under vehicle hydraulic lifts can be installed as an additional option. Automatic transmission is optional throughout the range.

The
extra wide and long floor of the Kangoo offers access to all types and
sizes of wheelchairs. Our unique lowered floor enables the wheelchair
travelling passenger to sit on a level floor, level with other rear passengers.

The Kangoo comes equipped with the unique and innovative TorSpring®
one-piece ramp technology.

finish.
The innovative TorSpring® ramp mechanism is totally enclosed within the ramp design leaving no parts visible or exposed. Ease of use is aided by the high level easy release handle and the self-latching mechanism which holds the unit firmly in place.
And as you would expect from Lewis Reed, the whole conversion has achieved LVTA (Low Volume Type Approval) for your peace of mind and comes with three choices of superb trim levels.

Flexiseat Seating System
The
Berlingo is equipped with Lewis Reed's exclusive Flexi-seat® seating
system (right), which retains the original five seater spacious saloon
but allows the seats to be folded forward to allow wheelchair access with
up to 3 other travellers.
The whole conversion has achieved LVTA (Low Volume Type Approval) for
your peace of mind and safety, and the Berlingo comes with a host of standard
equipment such as metallic paint, central locking and electric windows
offering the best value for money available.
