Levant Stairlifts The Levant stairlift has been developed with our principle of One Vision Design. Working closely with ergo-therapists and international focus groups, the Levant really is the next generation stairlift. By consulting ergonomics experts as well as existing stairlift owners, the Levant's design is simple, sturdy and above all matches your accessibility requirements.
The ergonomically designed seat makes the ride smooth and comfortable. When folded up the seat takes up significantly less space, so the stairs are free for other users. The thick and luxurious seat padding makes it firm but soft. The sisal colour of the cushioning is a neutral shade which fits in with any decor. The upholstery is fire retardant, liquid repellent and easy to clean.
The control unit is easy to operate and has already been implemented in Flow2. This means that it is in use in over 15,000 stairlifts worldwide. A proven, reliable and user-friendly feature.
The size of the footrest enables the user to place their feet comfortably next to each other. Besides the comfortable width, the colour was also taken into consideration. The darker colour on top of the foot rest ensures a clean look for the chair lift, as stains or smudges from shoes won't show easily on this darker grey colour. The foot rest has several safety edges, on both sides whether moving up or down. When the footrest encounters an obstacle, the stairlift comes to an immediate stop. The same applies if it is a vertical obstacle, below the footrest.
The aluminium rail has a slim design with the rack securely covered, which gives it a modern look. In addition the rail is anodised, which keeps the surface clean. The rail supports are powder coated in a colour fits neatly with the aluminium. The rail can be any length between 1 and 9.75 metres, and the angle can range from 28 to 53 degrees. The long charging contacts ensure that the lift stops at a charging point. When the stairlift arrives at the charging point a beep informs the user that they have arrived. All the plastic parts on the rail are black, and in this way the cable for the charging contacts goes almost unnoticed in the rail.
