| The company is showcasing
its first low-cost wheelchair, the new Alpha, together with range of
wheelchairs in bold, vibrant colours and the updated RT300 FES system
with new motorised arm crank.
The Alpha has a special launch price of £995.00, and is ideal
for wheelchair users on a tighter budget who want the reliability and quality
traditionally offered by more expensive rigid framed bespoke chairs. Manufactured
from a new aluminium alloy, Alpha has fully adjustable lightweight backrest upholstery
and cantilever design frame for ease of transportation.
Also for the first time, in a move to 'lifestyle' designed chairs,
Cyclone Mobility will be introducing bright, coloured frames for its range of
wheelchairs. Apart from Cyclone Alpha which will have the new colours as standard;
the blue, green or graphite translucent powder coated frames will be an optional
extra on all other chairs.
Cyclone Mobility is the exclusive distributor of the RT300 Functional Electrical
Stimulation (FES) system in the UK, which is the only electrical stimulation
product to enable users to participate in both passive and active leg or arm
therapy. Now offering a motorised arm crank instead of handlebars, the RT300
enables users to easily and comfortably undertake passive, volitionally active
or electronically stimulated activity using their arms to aid rehabilitation.
