OpeSpray Lateral Transfer Shower Trolleys

image of opespray lateral transfer shower trolley Hydraulic shower trolley range with a unique design that allows the trolley to overlap over the bed for easy and safe transfer.

OpeSpray is unique, with its side mounted column, allowing the trolley stretcher to overlap the bed further for a safe and easy transfer.

The protective side rails will fold in for narrow door clearance, and the side rail on the attendant side will fold all the way down for easy access and less risk of the carer straining.

The stretcher can be tilted in both directions for "Trendelenburg" position using smooth gas springs, and has drains at both ends, allowing the person to be positioned in either direction. Therefore there is no head or foot end specified.

Hands Free Operation - Easy to use foot controls for raising and lowering the trolley, allowing the attendant to maintain hands-on care at all times. Braked rear castors have a "straightsteer" system.

The OpeSpray Bariatric Stretcher is a battery powered dual-drive shower trolley with a powered tilt. There is either a 240kg/37st or 400kg/63st model, both with a centralised brake. Rechargeable battery powered dual actuators raise and lower the stretcher easily and quietly, with an easy to use hand-held remote control. The hand control operates the power tilt in both directions for improved drainage, and tilts to a "Trendelenburg" position when desired. An audible tone sounds when the stretcher is level.

OpeMed Hoist Slings

image of opemed hoist sling OpeMed has a range of over 400 slings that have been designed over the last 10 years to provide specialist solutions.

We have both Clip and Loop slings, in sizes from XXS through to XXL, as well as a Bariatric System for 320kg / 700lbs / 50 stone patients.

Our dispoable slings with clip fixings, are for patient specific use and assist in cross infection control programmes

All slings have individual serial numbers, clear washing instructions and follow the industry standard sizing colours (coloured piping).

Replacement Slings for Other Lifters

Our unique loops and e-clips allow the slings to work on other well known brands of patient lifters in the market. Instead of premium prices for replacement slings (most manufacturers recommend their slings are replaced every year), a hospital or home can have a tried and tested replacement sling often with a saving of over over 13%. All OpeMed slings are insured and tested on our approved list of lifters.
