PowerTrike Xtra is the latest incarnation of the highly successful original PowerTrike, which first appeared on Tomorrow's World in 2001, scooping their annual "Best Invention" award.

The new model boasts 60% more power, and has almost doubled in speed, now being able to travel at some 16 mph.

The PowerTrike Xtra can be fitted in minutes to almost any manual wheelchair, using one of the two "universal" fitting kits (one for static chairs, one for folding chairs). Once the fitting kit is attached, the PowerTrike Xtra can be connected (or removed) in seconds.

PowerTrike Xtra has an easy to use governor that makes sure that you can keep to the legal limits around town, and when life needs to be a little more exciting, travel off-road with speeds of up to 16 mph.
