PivoTell
How
PivoTell worksThe PivoTell unit is easily programmed and loaded, by the user, carer or relative, and it can dispense pills up to 28 times a day at pre-programmed times.
At the right times, the internal pill cassette rotates, the alarm signal sounds, and the correct dosage comes into view through the opening in the lid.
The alarm will continue to sound for up to an hour, or until the pills are dispensed by tilting the unit so that they fall into the hand or a suitable container. There are four different alarm sounds to choose from, according to personal preference.
The PivoTell holds a minimum of seven days supply, a maximum of 28 days.
The dispenser is battery operated (4 x AA type alkaline batteries are supplied) which will last 12 months under normal circumstances.
There is an in-built test function, which includes a low charge battery warning indicator. The unit can be locked, so that only the correct dosage is taken.
