Promedics has a wide range of orthopaedic supports.

Shown left is the Pro Tem belt: simple but effective, the high quality elastic and two flexible posterior stays make this our most popular belt.

The edges have quality Lycra binding and a back depth of 20cm (8"), cut away to 18cm (7") at the front for increased comfort when sitting.

Other back supports include the Proform Belt, which has an elastic front with Velcro® closure; a cotton back section, with detachable comfort pad; and two malleable steels which can be shaped to fit the spinal curve.

There is also a webbing strap which can be positioned in the lumbar or sacral area, for extra compression on the spinal curve. Back depth is 28cm (11") to support the thoracic area, reducing to 20cm (8") at the front for comfort.

The Crossform Belt has two layers of bias-cut elastic, to give excellent shaping around the waist and hips. A padded cotton front 17cm (6 1/2") deep with Velcro® closure, gives mild abdominal pressure.

The 20cm (8") deep back pocket encloses a thermoplastic panel which is moulded in hot water at 65°C and shaped to the spine

These are just a few examples from an extensive range.
