sockets are often placed inconveniently low. A wall-mounted extension
(left) offers two sockets at a higher level, with a hook to hold plugs
that are not in use.
Electric plugs (right) with a moulded handle are easier to push in and pull out of the socket comfortably and safely.
Get in and out of your home more easily. A moulded plastic cover slips over Yale-type door knobs, giving better grip and leverage.
From outside, anyone with a weakened grip will find door keys easier to turn when they are fitted with a chunky plastic key turner.
Hob controls can be more easily turned with a contoured turner, which fits itself to the shape of the knob. It can also be used for turning radiator keys or any small, fiddly controls.
Gas fires can be ignited from a safe distance without stooping, using an extended lighter.
