All Solos feature a lowered floor combined with a kneeling suspension system and a short ramp. The lowered floor runs from the rear central position all the way to the front, either to the driver's position or optionally to the front passenger position.

Included in the package is a stainless steel exhaust system and fuel tank.

Quick release driver's seat or front passenger seat (depending on the option chosen) allows the vehicle to be driven or used by an able bodied occupant. There is also a third foldable seat behind the front seat.

The gear selector is relocated to provide maximum wheelchair space, or an electric push button gear selector can be installed if required at extra cost.

All Solos include an electric hand brake: the operational switch can be positioned to suit individual needs. Additional lighting is included in the rear of the vehicle to aid access in the dark. A four-point wheelchair restraint system is fitted as standard.

Access Options

Rear Hatch (most popular) The rear hatch, ramp and kneeling system are all made fully automatic via a remote control. There are back-up switches located in the rear of the vehicle and the Solo is supplied with two remote control handsets and a key cord.

Rear Doors (extra cost) The Solo can also be supplied with split rear doors - fully automatic as above.

Please Note:

The Kangoo Solo can be supplied as a ‘Side By Side’ (SBS) passenger-carrying vehicle such that the wheelchair occupant is seated beside the driver. Or alternatively, the wheelchair occupant can be located behind the driver or rear passengers - ask for full details.
