The Wheelfreedom Service
At Wheelfreedom we deliver to 1000's of customers every year and therefore understand how important it is to have peace of mind. During our easy order process you can select to have delivery any weekday morning, including the next morning provided your order is placed by 3.30pm Monday - Friday.
We collect payment once a fortnight. When you have finished with your equipment simply let us know and we will arrange collection on a convenient afternoon and cancel the payment agreement.
In the unlikely event that you have a problem with your equipment, let us know and we will have a replacement with you the next working morning free of charge. At this time we will collect the faulty equipment.
All of our products are shipped in a custom made Wheelfreedom box which collapses for easy storage, for use again at the end of the hire period.

Lightweight Foldable Wheelchair
The Breezy Moonlite is a comfortable, compact and lightweight wheelchair. Designed with maximum ease
and efficiency in mind, market leaders Sunrise Medical have produced a very high quality wheelchair
design. The Breezy Moonlite has a lightweight aluminium frame, weighing a total of 13.5kg, making it
one of the lightest in its class.
The Breezy Moonlite offers a suitable partner for a range of everyday needs. It is so easy to
manoeuvre that it is perfect for getting around the house, yet still easy to get you down to the
shops with its large rear puncture-proof wheels. Transporting the wheelchair couldn’t be
simpler. By lifting the padded seat sling and folding down the padded backrest, the wheelchair
becomes compact and easy to put in the back of the car.
For pease of mind, the team at Wheelfreedom are never far away. Should anything go wrong with
anything concerning your wheelchair, we aim to replace the wheelchair within 24 hours, and take
away the faulty equipment at the same time free of charge.
The minimum hire charge is £28 which covers you for up to two weeks rental. This offers a
highly competitive price, especially when you consider that this includes the replacement service,
and full international insurance within this price.
We can deliver our wheelchairs to you at any UK mainland destination, with all areas other than the
highlands and Islands of Scotland on a next morning service. We can therefore have a wheelchair
waiting at your holiday destination to allow all the family mobility and independence. When you
are finished with the wheelchair we will simply collect it again in our unique transport box,
making the hire of our wheelchairs hassle free.
Breezy Moonlite wheelchairs from Wheelfreedom are just £14 a week, reducing to £7
a week after 12 weeks, and can be delivered and collected from anywhere in the UK at short notice.

Elevated Leg Rest Wheelchair
Our lightweight elevated leg rest wheelchair has been specially designed to carry the additional
load associated with elevating either or both legs. Often the need for an elevated leg rest is
driven by an accident therefore it’s unlikely that the user will be familiar with using or
selecting the correct type of wheelchair. If you’re uncertain on the choices available,

In hiring one of these chairs for your rehabilitation you can be confident that you will be
comfortable in the chair and your rehabilitation period can often be shortened and even improved
through the use of one of our chairs.
The lightweight design makes it easy for those who aren’t used to using their upper body to
self propel short distances, such as a few hundred yards, whilst ensuring that they don’t bare
any weight on their injury. Comfort can be adjusted with the tension adjustable backrest and whilst
the chair comes with a padded sling, we do sell cushions for this chair.
Our minimum hire charge for this chair is £69.99, which covers the first two weeks hire,
delivery and collection. Beyond this, hire is charged at £20 per week, falling to £10
per week after 3 months. As with all of our products for hire, the chair is covered by our next day
replacement policy: should you run into any problems we aim to have a replacement unit or leg rest
to you on the next working day at no cost.

Lightweight Foldable Scooter
Our scooters are all manufactured by the world renowned mobility manufacturer Sunrise Medical.
Known as the Little Gem, the scooter is both lightweight in design and very strong in
construction. The scooter can be taken apart without tools in seconds and easily stowed in the back
of a car or out of the way: the heaviest part is only 16.8kg.
Whilst our scooter does not pretend to be a large scooter for lengthy journeys, it offers remarkable
stopflexibility and durability for daily use. Many of our customers who have scooters on hire use them
on a regular basis to visit the shops and undertake day to day tasks with complete independence.
Furthermore, Wheelfreedom offer a 24hr free breakdown service: if you have any problem with the
scooter we’ll aim to deliver a replacement scooter on the next working day and collect the
faulty unit at no extra charge.
The scooters are rated to carry up to 18 stone and on a fully charged battery a 10 mile range can be
expected – far more than the fittest of people would expect to walk in a day. Top speed is
approximately 4 miles per hour, just a little faster than normal walking speed, but you can easily
adjust the speed to talk to those walking next to you – or get away from them should you want
to!
Our minimum hire charge is £80, which at £40 per week offers excellent value for money:
the scooter is subject to a 33 point service, together with comprehensive cleaning and disinfecting,
every time it is offered for hire. This, together with our 24hr breakdown service, ensures our
customers are always mobile at a fraction of the cost of buying and maintaing a scooter.
We can deliver your mobility scooter to any holiday destination in the UK and should you decide that
your life is much easier as a result, you can take the scooter back home with you and continue to pay
the weekly rental with no other charges. Once you’ve finished with the scooter we’ll
simply collect it from your home address at a convenient time.
The scooters are delivered in two transport boxes broken down into their five parts. The scooter just
clicks together, requiring no tools, and once familiar this takes less than a minute to complete.

Lotus Bathlift
If you are having trouble getting in and out of the bath, this is a simple, cost-effective
solution to maintain your independence and privacy whilst bathing.
The powered bath lifts are slim-line, comfortable and include a waterproof control handset.
The seat reclines to a comfortable 40 degrees and the detachable covers have been treated with
a unique compound which provides unbeatable defence against the cross contamination of bacteria.
The Lotus bathlift requires no modification to your bath and is easily installed and removed
with minimal fuss. The battery is located in the control unit, which can be detached from the
chair for easy charging without needing to remove the chair from the bath between uses.
Retailing at £551 you can hire our bath lifts for just £22 per week, reducing to
£11 a week after 12 weeks, and they can be delivered and collected anywhere in the UK at short notice.

We work with a number of different healthcare professionals and organisations including occupational
therapists, doctors and insurance company case managers.
There are two main ways in which we help the professional community:
• Account Management - We provide an end to end solution dealing with all deliveries,
collections and maintenance of patients' equipment, while always being on hand to answer their
questions. As well as providing an efficient and first class service to the patient, this also
removes nearly all of the administrative burden from our account holders. Accounts can be structured

• Patient Referral - We have discovered that many healthcare professionals often find it hard
to recommend a cost-effective hirer of quality mobility equipment who can meet their customers' needs
immediately. Many organisations now recommend Wheelfreedom's service in order that their patients and
customers are able to get the independence and mobility they require. We now offer a hospital delivery
service, allowing patients a seamless discharge from hospital, often earlier than they would have been
able to before.
