The Cambridge has been designed specifically for use with a mobile hoist, having the Nursing Home and Carer environments in mind.
This exciting new design of chair has "Electric Cordless Operation", using a self-powered unit that is charged overnight and will operate in normal use for approximately ten days between charges. This enables the carer to push the chair from room to room without having to worry about trailing electric cables.
The Recline Only action has two motors that offer a Tilt-in-Space facility, Trendelenberg position and independent operation of the back and the footrest, which folds underneath the chair.
The chair has 5" diameter castors (braked to rear), an ergonomically designed push handle and Vasco Elastic foam to the seat.
Finally, the options and accessories include Panvelle Stretch fabric, lateral supports, removable arms, side pockets, headroll and pressure relief foam and Akton Visco Polymer sheet for the back and footrest.
You can view the complete range on the Wilcare
website (it will open in a new window).
The Tenby is an electric rise and recline chair incorporating
a two-way action where the seat and back are in a constant position, reducing
substantially the possibility of skin shearing (which can lead to pressure
sores developing).
The Tenby is available with a range of different back styles; the waterfall,
as shown, three roll, button, split and cushion back.
There is a heavy duty model to accommodate users up to 25 stone (160
kg), and it is also available in a manual, recline only version.
The Pembroke is a version of this chair with full-lenth arms. Optional
extras include armcovers, side pocket(s), antimacassars and headroll.
The chair can be tailored to meet your exact requirements.
