13 hours of free CPD training

Closomat offers Occupational Therapists 13+ Hours of Free CPD via New Webinar Series

Closomat is encouraging occupational therapists who have not yet registered for its new webinar programme to take advantage of more than 13 hours of free CPD training – delivered in manageable, one-hour monthly webinar sessions.

Year-long CPD in a single sign-up

The UK’s leading supplier of Wash and Dry Toilets webinar programme, delivered in partnership with The Occupational Therapy Service, provides a full year of structured learning from April 2026 to May 2027. Occupational therapists can secure their place across the entire series through one simple registration, or attend individual sessions aligned to their clinical interests.

Each webinar is led by experienced clinicians and designed to support everyday practice, offering practical insight that can be applied directly to real-world casework.

Clinically relevant topics

The programme reflects the breadth of challenges faced in occupational therapy. Sessions cover a range of conditions including Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injury, COPD, autism and Alzheimer’s disease, alongside gastrointestinal conditions
such as Crohn’s, IBS and diverticulitis.

Wider practice-focused themes include age-related decline, ergonomics of toileting, falls risk and environmental design. Across all sessions, the focus remains on how physical, cognitive and environmental factors influence independence, dignity and safety, supporting evidence-based decision-making in toileting and bathroom activities.

Recognised CPD learning

Wheelchair user and care assistantWebinars are typically held at 11:00am on the second Thursday of each month, making it easy for clinicians to plan ongoing professional development.

Each session attended is supported with a CPD certificate, enabling participants to build a recognised portfolio of over 13 hours of learning across the programme. The monthly format ensures content is accessible and manageable alongside busy clinical workloads.

Robin Tuffley, Marketing Manager at Closomat, said:

“We know how challenging it can be for occupational therapists to find time for consistent professional development. This programme is designed to remove those barriers by offering high-quality, relevant CPD in a format that’s easy to commit to.
With certificates provided after each session, therapists can clearly evidence their learning while building knowledge that supports better outcomes for the people they work with.”
