Three-part foam construction relieves pressure and prevents bottoming out. This cushion has a firm foam base fused to a middle layer of high-density polyurethane foam for comfort and stability. The top layer of ultra visco elastic memory foam offers hugely improved pressure reduction and relief.
The cushion is supplied with Harley Premium Dartex waterproof / VP cover with welded seams and an anti-slip base. Other options are available. It is suitable for patients weighing up to 254 kg, and up to high risk of pressure damage, used in conjunction with appropriate nursing care.

The sculptured base of this cushion, shown above right, includes a raised front, which provides correct positioning and controls forward thrust to maintain posture and ensure stability. The three-part construction relieves pressure and prevents bottoming out. A firm foam base is fused to a sculptured middle layer of high-density polyurethane foam. Backache is a common problem for the bariatric client, and this specially designed cushion helps to ease an aching back. The two-part foam construction means support and pressure relief: the base layer of high grade foam is fused to a topping of ultra visco elastic memory foam, so there is no bottoming out. Supreme comfort as it ‘moulds as you move’. The cushion is sculptured to offer added support in the lumbar spine area.
Supplied with a luxury velour cover with elasticated, buckled fixing strap; other options are available.
