The Internal Compact WashPod is one of the smallest and most popular models in a full range of WashPod temporary disabled wetrooms that can be onsite in a couple of weeks and erected in a day or two without any extensive adaptation.

Internal Compact WashPod Temporary Disabled Wetroom

The Compact WashPod is one of the smallest in a range of plug ‘n play, temporary disabled wetrooms and it is designed to provide at-home disabled bathing where space is at a premium but extra room for carers, hoists and trollies may not be needed.

WashPod Costs

Costs for the various WashPod models can vary depending on the final specification but rental rates are from as little as £180—£415 a week with minimum periods in the region of 9 months. The Compact currently costs £220 a week to rent and is well within the DFG range to buy. In addition, there is an installation and removal charge and a deposit is required.
 

The WashPod Process

Pre-installation
• Assess floor plan and images to ascertain the viability and locations
• Face-time call from the client’s house and/or physical site survey

Connection to the Services
• Connection to the existing hot & cold water system may require two x 15m diameter drill holes
• We connect the waste from the macerator using micro bore technology with a hole to the kitchen waste or existing bathroom waste
• A 13amp electrical socket is all that is required
• The Saniflo is a commercial macerator with a 10m head capacity we can pump 150m in distance

Installation Day
• Typically requires just two men 4 hours to install and handover
• All products fit through a standard doorway
• Small hand tools used so very little noise
• No chemicals are used
• A signed handover is completed

Removal and Make Good
• We fill in any holes created by connection to services
• Tidy up and take away any rubbish
