The TheraCare range of quality care beds, are designed to provide electronically controlled positioning for comfort, and height adjustment to help care givers. These beds can be used by customers of all ages and conform the latest bed standards, BSEN60601-2-52 (adults) and BSEN 50637:2017 (children and small adults).

TheraCare Children’s PCC NL Bed

A bed that is fully compliant with BSEN 50637:2017 (children and small adults).

BSEN 50637:2017 requires gaps, including between the rails, to be smaller for children than for adults. The allowed gap is 6cm, half of the allowed gap for adults. This is why we add the mesh linked safety sides to the PCC NL Bed when it is required for a child. The PCC NL bed is very robust and is well made. The PCC NL Bed is 90cm wide and 200cm long.

BSEN 60601-2-52 requires a safe working height of 80cm without the mattress, to help prevent back injuries for care givers. The PCC NL Bed has a safe working height of 80cm so meets this requirement fully. The PCC NL bed is very robust and is well made. The PCC NL Bed is 90cm wide and 200cm long and can be made longer by 10cm or 20cm.

BSEN 60601-2-52 requires a safe working height of 80cm WITHOUT THE MATTRESS to help prevent back injuries for care givers. The PCC NL HD Bed has a safe working height of 80cm so meets this requirement fully. The PCC NL Bed is very robust and is well made making it particularly suited to Plus Size users. The PCC NL Bed is 105cm wide and 210cm long and can be made longer by 10cm.
